There’s something special about designing experiences that ignite excitement in others. As a teen, I recall the thrill of designing MySpace layouts for users and witnessing their joy in expressing themselves online.
This passion for helping others led me to pursue a career in digital design, where I have the privilege of creating products that contribute to pop culture and resonate with audiences on a larger scale. That’s pretty darn cool 😎
Championing UX/UI design throughout the entire SDLC process
Due to being the first design hire for startups, I’ve become accustom to navigating ambiguous features. I’m the first to grab a marker and begin white boarding ideas to help others bring their thoughts to fruition. I hone in on the UX and create wireframes to present to key stakeholders. Once approved, I research trends, review brand guidelines, and either stick to the current design system or suggest new components to bring the feature to life.
Since I’m also a developer, I keep in mind complexities when designing and like to collaborate with FEDs to ensure everyone is aligned.Â
